Artist, Clint Atkinson lives and works in Austin, Texas, U.S.A.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, his early years were in Guatemala, returning with his family to grow up in Houston and Corpus Christi, Texas.
Clint moved to British Columbia, Canada after serving five years as a Photographer's Mate in the US Navy, where he earned his BFA with honors from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, and his MFA from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
In between degrees he attended the Winter Session of Independent Study at the Banff Center for the Arts, Banff, Alberta.
Clint's paintings and drawings are in the collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, Ottawa, Ontario, and the Surrey Art Gallery, British Columbia, Canada, as well as private collections in the Unted States.
His work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions in Canada and the United States, as well as a group presentation of contemporary drawing at the Canadian Cultural Centre, Paris, France.
